Mario Kart 64
Banana Trick
Hit the brakes as soon as you hit a banana peel. Hold the brakes for 1 second, then release and hit the gas. This will prevent you from skidding or losing a balloon in Battle Mode.
Drafting
If you can't pass an opponent, try drafting him. Line your kart up behind another racer. You'll see wisps of air come off your kart and you'll speed up slightly. Not much, but enough to pass
whomever you're following.
Driver's Guide
Mario and Luigi are very well balanced racer who don't have any major advantages or
disadvantages. They're both good choices for beginning racers.
Peach, Toad and Yoshi accelerate well and don't lose a lot of speed if you go into grass or sand. Their maximum speed is slightly faster than average because they are lighter racers. Their disadvantage is corners -- they can lose a lot of speed if you don't slide. Their other disadvantage is their light weight -- if they collide with a heavier racer, they'll crash for sure.
Donkey Kong, Wario and Bowser turn corners well, even if you don't slide. Also, if they collide with another racer, regardless of size, they usually don't crash. While their heaviness is an advantage, it also has its drawbacks. They start out slow off of the Starting Line, and take a while to reach top speed. Since they are heavier racers, their tires will sink into the grass or sand if they go off-road, causing them to lose a lot of speed.
Ghost Riders
You're probably familiar with the standard ghost racers (the ones you create in Time Trial mode), but did you know the course was haunted before you arrived?
To play against the official course ghosts, enter Time Trial mode and complete a track within the time shown below. After beating this time, immediately RETRY and you'll be see the
message, "Now Meet the Course Ghost."
Course Time to Beat
Mario Raceway 1'30"00
Luigi Raceway 1'52"00
Royal Raceway 2'40"00
Item Shield
You can hold a single weapon item (shells, explosive box or bananas) behind your Kart by Z.
This can allow you to obtain other items or be used as a shield against attacks from behind.
Mario 64 Castle
On the Royal Raceway after the big jump there will be a yellow road to the right. If you follow it, it will bring you to the Mario 64 castle.
Mega Jump
If you're using a mushroom or a turbo boost, jump when another driver is immediately in front of you. If your timing is right, you'll sail over their head.
Mirror Mode and New Title Screen
For a new title screen and access to Mirror Mode you must win a gold cup in all 150cc events. Good luck!
Prevent Skidding
If you skid or blow up, rapidly tap the GAS button until you recover (usually 3 to 5 times.) If you see a music sign then you did the trick right.
Quick Lap On Frappe Snowland
When you start, do a U-turn and drive backwards. (Don't worry about Liukitu's REVERSE sign) Keep driving until you get to the end of a bridge. At the end, jump right off the bridge and on to the snow. Keep driving, and Likitu will pick you up and place you completely on the bridge. (If you are placed back on the snow, then it didn't work.) If you executed this correctly, you will have advanced the entire lap. Repeat this trick (after crossing the finish line) and you should be able to finish the track in 45 seconds or less!
Shortcuts
1.Bowser's Castle: You can gain a little speed by jumping over the stairs.
2.Koopa Troopa Beach: Many people believe this is only accessible with a mushroom power-up, but this is false. Gamers can make the jump off the ramp without a power-up. Just aim straight into the cave, use jump (the right shoulder button) make sure not to hit the walls, and jump right out from under the waterfall. Just before you get to the first rock arch, instead of going under the arch go to the right of arch. After making the turn, head slightly to the right and the water parts giving you land to ride on cutting off some of the route. Be careful as you finish this part; there are a lot of crabs to slip on.
3.Toad's Turnpike: At the beginning by the first crossover, start a mini turbo slide before you reach the place where the roads cross, then jump the rail to the right. Lakitu will pick you up. Hold A + B one second before he puts you down. When you hit the ground, immediately go right and jump the rail again. This time you will go through the ground. You may land on the road or you may land in the water. Or sometimes you don't make it. If you land in the water you will be put on the road where the short cut comes out.
This trick is extremely difficult but you'll skip about half the track if done correctly.
4.Wario Stadium: This is one of the longest tracks in the game, but it has a super shortcut that can cut tons of time off your lap. It's possible to jump over the wall to the left of the Starting Line using any one of the four small jumps there. Although you can make it over the wall without the assistance of any speed boosting item, a Mushroom or Mini-Turbo assist is helpful. Approach the wall at high speed so that you are driving directly at it as you reach the peak of the small hill. Jump just before you hit the wall and you'll sail over. The timing takes some practice but once you master it, it's not too difficult. It is also possible to jump back over the wall on the other side of the Starting Line, but the return jump is much more difficult and takes precise jump timing and aim.
5.Hydro Pond -- After driving through about half the course, your driver will enter the ghost house. Upon entering, take a right, but not as sharp as normal, and you'll pass by a wall on your left. Instead of aiming toward the bats, you'll aim slightly left and pass on the left side of the wooden pole. This might look like suicide, but jump over the edge of the star-shaped pool and you'll pass up that first-place player.
6.Rainbow Road -- At the beginning of the race press the gas just before the third light beeps to get a turbo then just as you crest the steep part of the first hill turn to the left and hit jump you fly off the road and if you get the angle right you will land about 1/3 of the around the track! THis can also be done with mushrooms on the following laps. A lap time 1'27"00 is easily possible!
7.Yoshi's Valley -- This course is a tangle, as shown in the introductory map, but here are a few short cuts that will enable you to beat just about anybody. Follow the course until you hit the mazey part. Immediately go left and stay left. The first part of the short-cut is to stay left and on the narrow part of the course. After managing to do that, you'll hit a little checkered ledge, and you'll see a big red and white sign on the left pointing right. This is the hard part. Accelerate as fast as possible and stay to the far right. As soon as the rail on the left side ends pull a hard left powerslide off the road. You'll continue the powerslide onto the upcoming road after you land, and if you do it right, you'll have shaved off at least 10 seconds or lead the pack. Of course, this one takes a lot of practice, but once mastered, it can't be beat.
8.DK Jungle Park -- You can advance the lap counter a lap without going around the track in DK Jungle Parkway. Try to jump into the wall to the left of the exit from the tunnel just before the Starting Line. Your angle of approach is important. If you angle too far to the left, you will fall back into the tunnel. If you angle too far to the right, the trick won't work. You want to fall into the "dark space" behind the wall. Lakitu will pick you up. If he puts you back on the track, inside the tunnel, the trick worked. When you go across the finish line from there, the lap counter will advance one lap. If Lakitu puts you back on the track outside of the tunnel, the trick didn't work. The best way to use this trick is to turn around and go into the tunnel right from the start. If you pull it off, you can get a 20-30 second lap on this course.
More tips: Near the beginning of the race is a self-propelling ramp which sends your
racer across a giant river. This one is quite simple. Instead of jumping straight off it, aim
to the far left and you'll be ahead of the crowd by a few seconds. It works.
Second, this course is full of sharp turns. Use the mushroom power-ups as you pass across the jungle terrain and though you'll be hit by coconuts, you'll still end up farther ahead than if you didn't.
Third, there is one cave on this course that disrupts many players because of its weird angles and hard-to-follow path. But look at the ground and there is a light-colored path, which makes it far easier to follow.
Fourth, upon entering the cave, accelerate to the maximum and aim toward the steep slope. If your racer is going fast enough then pull a hard left powerslide and you'll slide right up the slope, thereby shaving a few seconds.
9.Mario Raceway -- One of the best, and most difficult to accomplish, shortcuts in Mario Kart 64 is jumping over the central wall on Mario Raceway. To take this shortcut, you will need a Mushroom. The point where you will need to jump to get over the wall is just before the fourth turn (the hairpin turn around the giant mushroom). After the third turn, veer slightly to the left, and go slightly up the hill on the left. Turn sharply back towards the wall and hit your Mushroom boost just before you leave the road, jumping at the same time. You'll want to aim just to the right of where the sections of wall intersect. If you make the jump, you will come down near the giant green pipe. If you manage to take this shortcut every lap in Time Trial mode, and do the rest of the course perfectly, you will be able to complete the track in under one minute. This trick is extremely difficult to perform.
10.Royal Raceway -- On Royal Raceway, after the first hairpin turn, go off-road to the left about halfway between the hairpin and the next turn. Aim for the dark spot on the opposite shore and use a Mushroom to boost you over the water as you jump. If you make it to the other side, Lakitu will pick you up and put you back on the course just before the monster jump over the pond! You can save about 15 seconds per lap with this shortcut. To save even more time, use a Super Mushroom just before you hit the second pair of arrows on the super jump across the pond. Once you jump, turn as far left as you can (try to land on the flat part of the mountain.) If you make it, Lukitu will pick you up and put you right in front of the finish line!
11.Kalimari Desert -- In Mario GP, if you have a Super Star, you can take a shortcut through the train tunnel and gain a lap on your first and second lap. To do the shortcut, you will need a Super Star. From the second crossing, turn left and follow the tracks to the entrance to the train tunnel. Activate the Super Star just before you enter the tunnel, and your lap counter will advance by one around the min-point of the tunnel. This shortcut doesn't save as much time as you would think, because following the train tracks will slow you down. Also, because you need a Super Star to pull it off, it isn't a practical shortcut for Time Trials.
12.Choco Mountain -- Right before the big loop there is a road to the left. Do a powerslide and you can jump the wall. If done correctly you can save about 10 seconds. You have to be in 150cc or extra. Otherwise there is a fence there.
Throwing Tricks
To throw a banana forwards, hold Z while holding a banana, then press the joystick UP and release Z.
To toss a turtle shell behind you, hold Z while holding a banana, then press the joystick DOWN
and release Z.
Turbo Boost
Press A as the starting light turns green. If your timing is right you'll race ahead of the other players.

Birdman Warps
There are several warps hidden througout this game. Here's how to find a few of them:
To warp to the Birdman stage, fly under the bridge on the first level. Grab the star and you'll be free as a bird. You can also become the birdman by flying to New York (on Little States Island) with the rocketbelt and touching the golden star in Central Park. In Everfrost island use the rocket belt in the first test look to your side and you will see waterfalls. Go to the right most waterfall and go in the cavern. Keep going until you see another waterfall go down there and you will see the star that warps you to the birdman stage for everfrost.
Cannonball Tips
The following settings will land you in the bullseye on the first try, but you'll need to adjust the shots a bit for optimal results. Apparently you can't get a perfect score if you don't fiddle with the settings first.

Caverns short-cut
Enter the test "Dark Caverns" in Crescent Island with the rocket belt. After the first couple turns the tunnel will go through a small hole. Behind the torch after the small hole on the left there is a small tunnel going up. If you go through this tunnel it will leave you right before the large cavern guaranteeing a high score!
Get a 100 on Jumble Hopper Mission 3
The building to the right of the one that you start out on has an entrance at the base. If you go through it you will warp to New York which is very close to your goal in Washington D.C. If you have difficulty try to angle off the other building to get close to or into the hall.
Mt. Wario
Get to class B with the Gyro Copter and fly to Mt. Rushmore. Shoot Mario in the nose and he'll morph into Wario.
Night on Beginner Course
In the beginner course, you'll find a cave in front of a chapel on top of the hill. There should be water coming out of cave, and a sewer grate deep inside. Fly up to the sewer grate and the game will pause a little and make a weird sound. The cave should be darker, when you leave the cave you'll see that it is night time!
Refuel in Mini-States
To refuel any vehicle that requires fuel just go southeast untill you're near Florida and you will notice that there are to roads intersecting with another road that is coming out of florida. (Note that the map view is very helpful in the finding this area.) At this intersection there will be two gas stations very close to each other. If you go under or near the open roof at the pumps your fuel will automaticly be refilled.
Warp to San Francisco
With this trick you can warp from New York to San Francisco. Start on Little States Island and select either the Rocketbelt or the Gyrocopter. Travel west from Central Park to the building with an open door. Walk inside past the N64 logo, and look for another door to exit. You'll find yourself in San Francisco.
Warp to Washington
In Florida, fly to the small warehouse. You should see a small opening. Enter it and check out the details. When you leave you'll find yourself in Washington! To return to Florida, simply
re-enter the warehouse.
Star Wars: Shadows of the
Control Enemies
Start a new file, and make sure your Controller is on the Traditional setting. Enter your name as " Wampa Stompa." Note that there is one space before Wampa and TWO spaces before Stompa. Make sure you are entering the words in the proper case. After you correctly enter this name, you can activate the following codes during game play:
To Drive an AT-ST: Play through the Battle of Hoth until the AT-STs appear. Press Left on
the Control Pad (not the Control Stick) and the right C Button simultaneously and then press
Up on the pad. Now press right C to scroll through the game views. The over-the-shoulder
view of your snowspeeder will be replaced with an over-the-shoulder view of an AT-ST! Use
the Control Pad to steer and press Up on the pad to fire. You can control the AT-ST in a
general way, but it will fire at everything in its path.
To Become a Snowtrooper or Other Enemy: In any first-person level, press Right on the
Control Pad and C-Right simultaneously, then press Up on the pad. Use the C-Right Button
to switch between Dash and the enemy you've captured. As the enemy, press Left, Right or
Up on the Control Pad to move, and press Down to attack. Once you take over a creature he
won't hurt Dash, even if you switch back. The health and power meters on the screen will be
for Dash, not the trooper.
Note: If a creature you're controlling falls off a cliff you won't die. Instead, you'll fall to the
bottom of the level at which point you can walk on thin air.
First Person View in X-Wing
To get the first person view in the X-wing of Tie fighter you must get to the second stage of the skyhook battle and change to the first person view. Then just enter the X-wing/Tie fighter cheat.
Fly the X-Wing or Tie Fighter
This trick works only on the Medium difficulty setting. You must get all the challenge points before this code will work. Hold the camera button on the final level (while you are flying around Space Hook) and your ship will change into an X-Wing. Hold it again and you'll become a Tie-Fighter!!
Fly the X-Wing or Tie Fighter without Challenge Points
To fly the X-wing or TIE fighter without earning all the challenge points, do this. Pause the game, then hold Left on the control pad (not the stick) and hold C-Left + C-Down + C-Right + L + R + Z. While holding these buttons you can press Up or Down on the control stick to change into the different starships.
Note: Your controller must be in the Traditional setting to use this code.
Friendly Wampas
On the Jedi difficulty setting, the Wampas will be your friends if you get all the challenge points. They follow you around and kill enemies!
Go Anywhere on Hoth
First activate the code that lets you be the AT-ST, then go up to the mountains. The game will try to make you turn, but if you hold your controller in the opposite direction you'll break free and can walk almost anywhere on the level.
Invincibility and More Ammo
This trick works only on the Hard difficulty setting. You must get all the challenge points before this code will work. Hold the crouch button on the first-person levels for fifteen seconds. Dash will gain invincibility and full ammo for the weapons you're carrying.
Leebo Scanner
This trick works only on the Easy difficulty setting. You must get all the challenge points before this code will work. Hold the camera button in the first-person sections for five seconds to reveal a 'map' view that lets you see enemies and items.
Lock Camera View
To lock the camera view on the snowspeeder level, hold the camera button (C-Right) until your snow speeder moves without the camera tracking it.
View Designers
After you see the ending with view credits, press START to return to the title screen. From here, hold UP-RIGHT with the control stick and you will see the game's designers.
View Ending
Start a new game on Hard and enter your name as "_Credits". When you start the game you will see the ending credits and a playing tip.
Wampa Sound Effects
To add wampa sounds to the main menu, enter your name as "R_Testers_ROCK".
StarFox 64
Alternate Mission Paths
One of the Star Fox 64's best features is its alternate missions paths. Here's how to access them.
Aquas:
Score 100 kills or higher in Sector Y to warp to Aquas, the submarine level.
Area 6:
When you hit the last leg of the Macbeth stage, shoot the red pillars with metal direction flags
on them so they turn green. Keep a very careful eye out for them. (Hint: If you went to Zoness
before Macbeth, Katt will come and help shoot those hard-to-reach switches.)
At the end, where the switchboard light is, a switch will appear. Quickly shoot it and the track
will move to the right and watch the boss crash into the supply depot. After a nice 50-point
bonus you're off to Area 6!
Sector Y:
In Corneria, when Falco is being attacked by three ships, help him by killing the ships. When
you get to the water part with the rock arches, go under every arch. Then head right into the
waterfall. Falco will guide you to an alternate boss, which, when defeated, leads you to Sector
Y.
Sector Z:
In Sector X, keep left at all times. You will eventually hit an area where you have to quickly
destroy white gates to pass through them. Destroy the gates and pass through all of them to
warp.
Solar:
When Bill tells you to destroy the 4 hatches, destroy them and then destroy the enemy core.
Titania:
Near the end of Meteo you will see rings made of sharp triangles pointing inward. Go through
one and you'll jet forward in a barrel roll. Go through all of them (very tough) and it will make
you fast enough to warp.
Avoid Enemy Radar
As in real life, if you fly close to the ground your opponents won't be able to spot you in their radar. Fly as close to the ground as you can, but watch out for hills and avoid sharp turns (they tend to clip your wings.)
Different Opening
Go to Training mode and start playing. Pause the game and push R to turn off your sights. Now quit training mode. Without reseting, watch the opening sequence (the part that comes on when you turn on the N64 -- not after you start the game.) What ROB64 and General Pepper say is not printed and Pepper doesn't say everything he normally does!
Easy Way to Earn the Meteo Medal
Shoot everything you see and try to get 100 kills. Take the warp and while inside shoot everything that you see for an easy 200 kills.
Expert Mode
To unlock the Expert Mode and the sound test Graphic Equalizer, you must achieve medals on all 15 levels. In order to get a medal on a level, you must beat the stage with a specific number of hits (or more) and all of your wingmen alive. See "How to Earn Medals" for details.
Expert Versus and Training Modes
After you've activated expert mode, move the cursor on the main screen to "Main Game" then push left or right to select "Expert." Next choose either Versus or Training mode. Now, all the expert rules apply - you take damage easier and one hit will make you lose a wing! This is handy if are on the ground fighting Arwings in versus!
Extra Lives on Zoness
If you kill 200 or more enemies on Zoneth you'll gain two lives. To turn this windfall into nearly unlimited lives, retry the level and kill 200 enemies again. You can repeat this as often as needed.
Hidden 1-Ups
There are at least three hidden 1-ups in this game.
Corneria: Follow the normal path to the boss. If you perform a loop around the boss, you'll get a 1-up.
Sector Y: Near the end, your team will gather into a triangle. If you speed up and make it a diamond shape you will get a 1-up.
Venom 2: When you're about to face Andross and you have a choice to go left or right on the different forks. On the first fork, turn right (most turn left), then turn left, you'll see a one up icon spinning around.
Homing Bombs
To fire a homing bomb, hold the A button to lock-on to an enemy, then press B.
How to Earn Medals
In all the stages there are medals that you can earn if you shoot down enough enemies. If you're trying to earn a medal, kill all your wingmen 2 levels ahead so when it comes time for that level, they will be at full health.
Easy Paths
Corneria: 150
Meteo: 200
Fortuna: 50
Sector X: 150
Titania: 150
Boluse: 150
Venom: 200
Medium
Katina: 150
Solar: 100
Macbeth: 150
Hard
Sector Y: 150
Aquas: 150
Zoneth: 250
Sector Z: 100
Area 6: 300
Venom 2: 200
Moving Heads
At the title screen move the analog stick around. The N64 logo will move around the screen while the characters watch.
New Title Screen
For a different title screen, earn all the medals in EXPERT mode.
Play on Foot in Vs. Mode
To play on foot in Vs. mode, earn a medal on Venom in Expert mode.
Play with Tanks in Vs. Mode
To get Tanks in Vs. Mode, earn a medal on Venom.
Playing Tip
When you fight Star Wolf for the second time on Venom, keep going in circles by staying low and left or low and right. When you see an enemy blast him. When Star Wolf is shooting you, do a somersault and bank left or right.
Refuel in Sector Z
When you arrive at Sector Z and find out that you are low on energy, you can fly into the rear hanger of your mothership (the Great Fox.) You will be treated to a mini cut-scene of your Arwing diving into the ship and popping out the other side with your energy bar replenished.
Remove Crosshairs
Pause the game and press the right shoulder button (R) to remove your crosshairs. Repeat this trick to restore them.
Secret Star Fox Art
Complete the game in Expert Mode and wait for the end of the credits. Depending on whether you went through Venom 1 or 2, you will get two different pieces of art. One is a picture of all the characters in the game's heads, the other is a cool portrait shot of the Star Fox team with the word "Great!"
Shieldless Barrel Roll
To execute a shieldless barrel roll, quickly do three rolls in the same direction, then immediately roll the other way.
If you hold Z while executing the final roll you can change your rotation speed and make the
roll last a little longer.
Sideways Loop
In all-range mode, if an enemy is chasing you, push and hold Z or R while pulling the big loop trick after you see the enemy pull in front of you. This works very well against the Star Wolf team.
Train Against Star Wolf
If you kill 100 ships in training mode, a Star Wolf ship will appear and try to shoot you down. This ship will reappear after you kill it, so you'll be sure to get plenty of practice.
Venom 2 Tip
In Venom 2 when you reach the tunnel of power go right at the 1st fork then left at the 2nd fork. Once you follow this road you along the way you will receive an extra life. If you die while facing Andross go through this way again and you will get another one. If you keep dying keep going this way and you will eventually beat him.
Super Mario 64
Belly Flop
To make Mario do a belly flop, do a side flip but press A and B simultaneously.
Butterfly 1-up trick
Sometimes in the game you will see a bunch of butterflies fly out of a tree or grass. Punch or touch any of them and they will turn into a 1-UP.
Camera Trick
After you've won the game, you can control the camera angle in the scene where Mario is talking to the Princess. To do so, use the analog stick on Controller Two. You can also do this on the Credits screen.
Change Obstacle Speed
To change the obstacle speed on Course 14, try this. For slower obstacles, enter when the minute hand is on 3. To stop them completely, enter when the minute hand is on 12. For the more ambitious, enter when the minute hand is on 6 for a greater challenge, or 9 for the ride of your life!
Dead Mario Trick
Go to "Wet Dry World" and get in the cannon. Aim the cannon right above the sun. Shoot the cannon and you will hit the invisible wall. You will fall back down in the cannon but your power container will loose a lot of life. Do this many times in a row and and you will die. You will still be able to shoot out of the cannon!
Extra Lives on the Ice Stage
To find some extra lives on the Ice stage:
1.On the first Ice stage, begin your slide.
2.On the first left turn, head for the row of Coins.
3.You'll slide into a tunnel that holds 2 extra lives.
Extra Lives Outside
When you are outside, and the water is gone, go under the bridge and locate two yellow coins. Do a side jump and then a wall kick to get them. When you get the second coin a 1-up should fall. Run over to it and collect it. Enter the basement or the main castle door, then come out again and recollect your 1-up. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
Fall from Great Heights Safely
When you're falling, do a butt-stomp just before you hit the ground. If your timing was right you'll take no damage. For more style, try this. If you have the wing cap do a triple jump, but just before you flip press B and dive while holding A. You'll glide down and take no damage when you land.
Final Level Playing Tip
The very last level is very hard unless you know a secret. The first couple of hits are easy because the whole plate is still there. But when the sides fall out and form a star, this is what you do. Whenever Bowser runs at you do a side jump right over his head. When the plate starts to tilt, find the running speed that will keep you in the exact same spot.
Healing
If your power meter is low dive into the nearest pool of water. When you resurface your power meter will be restored.
Hidden Coins
Run around any wooden post five times to receive five coins.
Mario Hat Factory
Go to the desert level in the basement, then choose any level other than #1. Next go over to the palm tree by the red bomb-omb buddy. Let the bird take your hat, then stand on the closest piller and when the bird flies around the piller, hit him so he drops the hat, but don't pick-up the hat! Then go stand under the palm tree until you teloport by the cannon. Then teloport back to the palm tree.
Every time you do this, another hat will fall on top of the one befor it. After you do this 50
times, the game will screw-up and freeze.
Messed-up Room
After you get all 120 stars, shoot yourself onto the roof where Yoshi is. Then get the winged hat and jump off the roof. Now go back into the cannon and shoot yourself back onto the roof only this time aim for the highest "tower" (in the direct center of the castle). Go to the left side of the wall, facing the castle and before the perpinducular wall, and do a jump-dive into the side of the wall. You should fall through the castle into a "black room" that is a major glitch.
Owl Ride
To get a ride on an owl, go to Whomp's Fortress (Level 2) and pick "Shoot Into The Wild Blue" or a higher star. Now climb the tree to your left and an owl will fly out. He will now let you ride him. But if you wait too long he'll tell you to lay off the pasta and the drop you.
Penguin Rematch
When you get 120 stars return to Cool Cool Mountain for a rematch with the penguin. If you thought he was big before, you'll be in for a surprise.
Quick Trip Downtown in Wet-Dry World
You DO NOT need the cannon to get stars 11-5 and 11-6 ("Going Downtown for 8 Red Coins" and "Quick Race Through Downtown!"). To get a shortcut, jump in the painting to Wet-Dry World as high as you can. If you jumped high enough, the water level should be at its peak. Now just swim over to the caged area and jump out; Mario should grab on to the fencing. Just dive in and swim your way downtown!
Secret Slide in Peach's Castle
When you enter the castle go up the stairs and turn right, the last room should be filled with stained glass windows. Go towards the first window on the right and jump in it.
Shortcut to Star #4 on Lethal Lava
Go to Lethal Lava Land and pick Star #4. Find the Grating where Mr. I is waiting, then enter the hole. Wait and you will warp to an island with a Wing Cap. Put it on, then do a triple jump and fly past the log onto the island with Star #4.
Shortcut to Star #6 in Cool, Cool Mountain
When you begin the level run past the cottage at the beginning and head to the platform where the snowman's body is. Near there should be a guy that sorta looks like a flower (He has flower petals on his head) and jump on him. Mario will do his helecopter spin. While Mario is spinning in air, He will decend slowly. Steer him towards the edge of the lowest platform of the area. (I.E. the Platform where the Icicles hang from) DO NOT LAND ON THE PLATFORM!! Instead, decend under the ledge and try to land on the Ice platfor where star #6 rests. It's alot easier than using wall kicks to get it as labeled (Wall Kicks will work)!!
Sliding Shortcut #1
To improve your time on the Red Sliding level:
1.Enter the Red Sliding level.
2.Jump to the left as soon as you exit the tunnel.
3.With a little practice you can land on the later part of the course, saving you valuable
time. Complete the course in under 21 seconds to receive a Star.
Sliding Shortcut #2
This shortcut works in the ice/blue sliding level.
1.Pass the first two turns
2.Do not turn at the third turn
3.Let yourself fall slightly to the left
Tiny-Huge Island Tip
If you are small, butt stomp the big goombas to recieve a blue coin instead of a yellow coin!
Unlimited Lives
When you start a game outside of the castle go to the second tree from the waterfall climb it and get the extra life. Now go into the castle door and comeback out again to get another life, you can keep on doing this forever.
Unlimited Lives in Final Battle
When fighting Bowser for the third time, if you get killed you can keep getting a 1-Up by walking behind the top left pillar.
Wet-Dry Wonders
They say that a picture's worth a thousand words. Apparently, the picture of Wet-Dry World is also worth a thousand valves. You can control the level of water by the height of Mario's jump. If he jumps into the picture at a higher level, the water level is higher.(and visa versea) You can save lots of mucking about by choosing the right height.
Turok: Dinosaur Hunter
Beat the Campaigner
When facing the Campaigner (the final boss), take out your Particle Accelerator and start charging it. As you charge it the Campaigner should stall and stand still. Now fire it at him and change your weapon (the minigun and auto shotgun work well.)
Even though he has a forcefield he'll start laughing as he blocks your attack. This leaves him
open for your second attack. Repeat this process for an easy victory.

Jumping from Pole To Pole
An easy way to solve that is by putting on the map. When you jump as soon as the map arrow (meaning your position) goes over the rock pole marked on the map let go of the button and you will fall right on the rock pole. Thsi stops you from falling when jumping from rock pole to rock pole.

WaveRace 64
Baby Dolphins Big Dolphins and a Whale
To see the baby dolphins, go to Championship, Normal, then Warm Up. Now follow the dolphin three times around the course as best as possible. If you follow him correctly he will jump over the Bridge after the Dolphin Park sign. It's important that you do what the dolphin does, so if it does a barrel roll as it clear the jumps, then do barrel rolls; if it does flips, then do flips, etc. The dolphin seems to randomly make a choice as to which trick (if any) it performs each time you turn on the machine, so if you aren't good at the tricks, keep restarting machine until he's just clearing the jumps. To see the killer whale, repeat this trick 30 times without a mistake. To view the big dolphin do this 20 times consecutively you will see a larger dolphin in Dolphin Park.
Change Colors
While selecting your jetski, highlight any character and hold Up on the analog stick. Continue to hold until your character and jetski change color.
Dolphin Ride
Select Stunt Mode mode and enter Dolphin Park. Next go through all the rings and perform the following tricks:
Handstand
Backwards spin
Stand with backflip
Single backflip off ramp
Dive off ramp
Barrel roll off ramp in both directions
If you did the trick correctly a dolphin will squeak when you cross the finish line. To ride your dolphin, select Dolphin Park in a Championship Race and hold Down while selecting your racer.
Double Side Flip
This stunt can earn you over 2000 points if done properly. Head straight at a ramp and gain as much speed as possible. Then about an inch from the top of the ramp push the joystick in the up/diagonal position and then pull down and hold. If your timing was right you'll do a side flip, then a back flip and land perfectly.
Note: J. Meter is the best one to do this with.
Easy Points
Press Start as soon as you complete a stunt. If done correctly all sounds should stop except for the announcer. You want to pause the game as soon as the announcer starts talking after you do a stunt. If done correctly, you can get up to 30,000 points on a level!
Note: For even more points, cross the finish line at 0 time. This will push your score
even higher!
Start With Max Power
At the start of the race, press the Accelerate button immediately before the third beep.
